Hi,
This blog is specifically interested in the Kipp families in southwestern Ohio, especially in Warren and Clermont counties. Our progenitor, Christian Kipp, emigrated in 1865 from the duchy of Mecklenburg, which is in the northern part, south of Denmark, of what became the nation of Germany in 1871. I think he and his wife Sophia settled in or near Dayton, Ohio, but I'm still researching this and may need to correct this info at a later date.
